Data Express Special Parameter Types:

There are three special parameter types within FME Data Express

• QR code
• Barcode
• Location

These are all extended via the Text published parameter, and their special behaviour only works within FME Data Express.

Workspace Implementation:

Parameters are created asnormal within FME Desktop using the Text parameter type.

The GPS need to be named FMEExpress_Location_ followed by your parameter name to be recognised as the GPS location field.

For the QR and Bar Code types they are just Text parameters and the FME Express App will handle using a QR or Bar code.

FME Data Express:

Within the FME Data Express App these will be converted to the relevant controls and we can use them accordingly.

Response in Workspace:

To see the output we have a simple test workspace that will capture the output and log it.
